Detainees from his compound carried the unconscious detainee to the compound gate and notified the guards. The detainee was not breathing and the medical staff immediately began CPR. The medical staff transported the detainee to the field hospital located on Camp Bucca where he died after all life-saving efforts failed to resuscitate him. The cause of death appears to have been a heart attack. .
